The Flyers are back in action tonight against the New Jersey Devils and will have Brian Elliott between the pipes.

Elliott has played well in the absence of Carter Hart, including turning away all 16 shots he faced in Monday's 3-0 shutout win over the Detroit Red Wings, but Hart could be getting closer to a return.

Hart practiced yesterday, but hasn't played since suffering an abdominal injury on Jan. 13. He is 15-11-3 with a 2.61 goals-against average, and .905 save percentage in 32 games this season.

"I feel better, making the right steps, doing the right things to see if I can get out there as soon as possible," Hart said after practice on Wednesday. " But making sure I'm ready."

"It a decision i'll make with the medical staff, they'll make their best judgement."

Elliott has a 13-5-4 record this season with a 2.81 goals-against average and .903 save percentage in 26 appearances.
